We’ve just finished building out a new website focused exclusively on our DMV Test Prep iPhone apps. The new site is DMVPrep.com and is now live. It will serve as the product page for this series of apps and if all goes well we’ll offload some other product pages as well.
It’s been getting a little crowded around here in what originally started out as my blog. With all the app reviews I’ve done mixed up with our own app releases and product info it’s been getting difficult to separate things out.

The DMV preparation test for Iphone is not accurate.
I recently downloaded it and tried three tests.
The same question for two different tests, the software recommended two different answers.
The question is: “A steady yellow “X” signal above a reversible lane means:”
It should be reviewed.

You didn’t say which state you’re using. Irregardless, this question is used in five states which I have just reviewed and confirmed that our questions are accurate. In fact, there are two slight variations of this question so if you don’t pay attention you’ll mark the wrong answer, just like on the real test. The two questions are worded “A steady yellow…” and “A flashing yellow…” which of course have different answers.
This problem occasionally happens and so we get feedback. Our test questions and answers were intentionally designed with similarly worded questions just like you’re going to see at the DMV. So slow down, people, and read carefully.
